Please i need help;recently i bought honda Civic 4 door automatic,in beginning the battery was giving me problem few times i had to start the car with the jump lead then next day i change the battery it was doing good then after few weeks this morning the car didnt start all i could see is the lights are on the dashboard but when i turn the ignition to start the car it doesnt do anything please let me know what could be the problem???

If your a hands on type of person or willing to go that route and plan to stick with an older vehicle, get yourself a Volt meter like the below. You can get them for cheap, $10-20 at your local parts store and it will help pin pointing where issues like this could be coming from:




On the flip side you can always take it to a reputable shop that won't play guessing games, wasting your time and money, but get right down to what it actually is by testing/diagnosing.

Definitely sounds like the alternator is giving you some hiccups. It's really not that hard of a test to figure it out if you can work you're way around a multi-meter. Otherwise, take it to a shop and they'll be able to quickly diagnose it.
