Honda’s new 10th generation Civic hatch has been on sale in North America for a while and it’s set to go on sale in the UK late March.
Pricing for the new compact model can range from £18,235 ($22,230), for the entry level S trim, to £27,480 ($33,500) for the Prestige trim with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). For the entry level price tag, buyers will be getting a 129 PS (127 HP), 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a manual gearbox. The only other engine option is a 182 PS (179HP) 1.5-litre turbo petrol unit which is only available in the Sport trim (£22,470) and above.
Aside from the prices, Honda has not yet announced the standard and optional equipment available for each trim. However, the automaker has provide us with the model’s residual value data and they are “predicted to be among the best in its class."
The 10th generation Civic is estimated to retain 37% of its value after 36 months and 60,000 miles. A huge increase compared to the previous generation’s 9%.
With the sale date approaching, Honda should be releasing additional trim information soon. In the meantime, you can view the full list of prices on their
