Like how you can tell it's modded and probably packing some heat but it isn't too over the top. There are some body panels and trims I wouldn't mind having on my own civic.

For some reason I can only find pictures of this same guys car in the Seibon booth.

Honda brought a race-prepped version of the Civic Coupe to SEMA, looks a lot better than the other SEMA concepts IMO.

Grey floor paint is all the rage these days, why I do not know, but it seems popular to some people who may not have perfect vision. High end cars like Porsche and Ferrari are all offering it. I don't like it, but colour is a very personal choice.

That is definitely true. I really can't see it either but seems to be the "fad"

The only other thing I was looking at is that the red carpets in it seem to be some home hardware rug that they cut to fit and got it bound around the edges.. Just me ?
It looks similar to the shade of grey that was on the hatchback concept. It's not a bad color, just a bit too dark when you pair it with black seats and the red kind of breaks up the monotony of it. I really like the wrap on the race-prepped model if you take away the logos.
actually, hyundai started this color way back in 2012 with their velosters. it was a flat grey...and very limited and a significant upcharge to get it. now, all are offering some version of it.

floor paint...like the description

i don't mind the grey...don't like the red accents (ANYWHERE) on this particular color. and the mats remind me of the old various Kraco brand you could get from Kmart! just look really cheap inside there. stick with black floor mats in that interior.

The veloster flat gray was alot nicer than this color though. It was darker, closer to the modern steel metallic gray.

I'd compare this to that hideous cement gray tone the Scion tC came in. It wasn't metallic or peal.. just a monotone medium gray.

A white or black car would've looked 10000x better with the red accents than the gray does IMO.

Almost every 5 or so years a new fad color hits cars. It's new and unique, but over time as that fad fades, it must makes a car look even more dated. That weird medium gray is the current fad color. Back in the late 90s it was teal (my parents had a teal minivan). For a while it was dark forest green. Early 2000s saw the rise of powder/light blue as a popular choice. etc etc.
