Not mine but I found someone else's lease on a 2016 Aegean Blue LX-P Coupe

240 a month
0 Down/Dealer paid first payment
3 years, 15k a year, 45k total mileage limit

Not sure what they're paying for interest. can't really say you were hosed since $290 a month isn't too far off and maybe they did some amazing haggling and they're an old customer of that dealership to get that deal.

One thing to note is, it might be bad in comparison to someone that negotiated and even right now I think you'll have better luck negotiating than those that were first to get the Civic during the initial launch.

I just picked up a new 2016 Civic EX-T on a 3 year 12k mile lease for $0 down other than 1st month, DMV and taxes of the 3 years. $224/month. Thats the lowest I've heard of so far. I'm in the NYC area. Hope everyone can use this to set the bar of what to expect.

That's a steal as far as what i've seen. Having free maintenance would make it even better but fortunately during the first years there's not much to do, just the usual.

Do you plan to get your Civic serviced at the dealer or an independent shop?

Thats almost to a T the same lease agreement we have. I added the fog lights that didnt come standard with this model that pushed it up just a little. I couldnt pass this up at that monthly payment. As of now anyway, we plan to buy it out after the 3 years at an agreed on price of around 13K But then again who knows what 2019-20 Civics may look like. For our situation a lease was practical at this particular time.

$290 seems a little high, especially if you put $2500 down and have 12000 miles a year. Three oil changes isn't really a big deal. If you had gotten free oil changes for the life of the lease and 15k miles it would have been more of a deal.

Honda currently has a special offer on the LX model which is $2000 down and the monthly payment comes out to $179. I don't think the LX-P model is worth the extra $500 down and $110 a month? Did you negotiate at all with them or just take the first offer?

They have some sort of lease deal here for a LX sedan at our local Honda dealers... it is $199.00 per month with zero down. I have never leased, but thought about it because I am picky about cars and get tired of them quick if there is something I don't like. I could do that and keep my savings in my bank account and try to buy the car if I decide I want to keep it.

Good luck!
