Mmm... this is exactly the attitude that scares me. These systems are not meant to have people not steering and being more comfortable text messaging while driving, etc... Please continue to drive carefully.

Not going to be text messaging while driving but it would be nice to take my foot off the pedal and rest the foot on long drives or give the arm a rest. Still going to pay attention while driving because even if your car is safe, the other drivers may not be.

I see it being helpful for families, someone with a lot of things going on that they can't have the option to ignore. But still, devoting full attention to what's happening on the road is ultimately what any driver will want to do.
