Hello Folks,

First post. I've got a '17 Si Coupe on order. It'll be my 4th Si. Currently I have an orange '14 Si and I'm an "old fart" of 48 so the mods I've done on the '14 are "mild" - K&N intake and Eibach Pro Kit springs. IMO the car looks and sounds like it should come as "stock" from the factory.

I'd like to replicate these mods on my new Si, and add the Hondata mod, but I'm not familiar and am admittedly nervous about doing such a mod. So, questions:

1. Hondata Si mod - will this void the powertrain warranty AND can the mod be reversed to go back to factory stock performance, using the same module? In other words, how do you undo the mod if need be?

2. Eibach Pro Kit Springs - has anyone installed these on an Si yet? Can you even add lowering springs with the new Sport Mode tech? Will the lower springs harm anything or conflict with auto-adjusting suspension?

3. K&N or similar intake - I like the sound it gave to my '14. Can you even put one of these on a turbo engine? Would it give the same type of sound?

Thanks very much :D

I can only help you out a bit unfortunately. I used to have Hondata for my 8th gen si and had to flash it back to stock a few times to go to dealer no issues at all there. With all this talk of how much they're making from the Hondata it wouldn't be a bad choice at all but people are also recommending ktuner which I have not done much research into yet. I am curious now about lowering springs with our active dampening in sport mode. In regards to the intake ive read a few post saying they have done it but apparently honda has done a great job with the stock air box. Hope this helps hope you get your si soon!

How's it going, I've had numerous Civic Si in my time. But I've never had so many issues trying to find a nice setup for my civic till this year. Any updates on the active suspension and aftermarket springs? I've message tein personally and all they wanted to talk about was using my car as a beta tester. After checking with multiple companies I'm starting to loose hope on lowering spring setup.

My 8th gen had K-Sport coilovers, S2 catback exhaust and downpipe, injen cold air intake, hondata flash pro and Hybrid works v2 short throw shifter. I'd like to as well get my new Civic to this stature soon. Any help with suspension and/or parts would be much appreciated.
