I couldn't find one, so to protect it for now, I had a clear bra installed, its made of clear 3M materialJust ordered the new 2016 Civic in Modern Steel Metallic, dealer had to bring this color in as there was none on his lot. Has anyone put a hood edge deflector on one of the 2016's yet, kind of wondering how they would look. Dealer said that he doesn't like the look of these deflectors on the new civics. Drive a lot of highway miles each year and the hood on my old civic was pretty beat up with chips.
I saw some on ebay, but they say they fit 13 to 16 civics which cant be possibleYes I do not see an official Civic hood deflector either. Sounds like the Dealer was making it up as he/she went along. I know my sales guy did a little of that until I kept correcting him.
One of my worst pet peeve's.... If you don't know or are unsure, then say so. Don't make a story up to fill the void.
If you just want the front end done it shouldn't be more than $300-400. Shop around and compare prices offered locally. The other thing is to know what to look out for when inquiring about these jobs an for that you might want to look at what detailers on a detailing forum have to say. Get insight from that end then start making calls. My old '09 civic hood was also beat up. Anyone know how much clear bras cost??
I got an OWP civic sedan and I wanna do a better job protecting the paint
