Some fool salesman convinced my mother in law that she should only pull up on her parking brake 2 clicks when parking her 2016 Civic or she will ruin the parking brake. I have never heard anything so silly in my life. It is my experience that you pull it up enough so the car does not roll on its own. 2 clicks and I can still push the car very easily. I tried looking in the owners manual in the glove box but can not find anything about how many clicks. Can anyone confirm or deny for me if this info exists somewhere or is the salesman full of it?
