Howdy-New coupe owner

Howdy everyone! Ordered a touring coupe today but unfortunately it's going to be a long wait.....like months. The dealer can only get two coupes a month apparently due to demand so I'll just keep driving my fit.

I'm 75 years old and between my wife and I we've owned at least a couple dozen Hondas and Acuras. My wife had a 69 civic which I believe was the first year in Canada and has never driven anything but Hondas. I'm driving a 2015 fit now that I bought due to limited garage space and share the garage with my wife's Acura RSX. I'm giving the fit to my son and picking up the white civic coupe. Before the fit I had many accord coupes and every other model Honda you can imagine including several motorcycles dating back to 1970. Never had a bad one.

Congratulations and welcome to the forums sir ! Glad to have a true Honda enthusiast veteran here to provide information and share experiences. The wait does seem quite long but I think it'll be worth it in the end ;)
Congrats to you sir...I'm ten years behind you, but we (my family) have been driving Hondas since '98. My '98 Civic HX has 230k miles on it, but I'm still holding out for a coupe with 6MT. Hopefully by the fall, they will be available.

"Two doors and three pedals!" :)
Long wait but you might find yourself ordering parts for it before it even arrives! I know some people that end up with a stockpile of parts before even taking delivery of the vehicle. Crazy.

But for now there isn't any aftermarket stuff out, just some official accessories.
Welcome to the forum! Did you dealership give you a delivery time estimate?
I knew the Honda civics were high in demand but I didn't know there was a waiting time of months.
That might have to do with location since dealers in say Manhattan will have a stock pile of these sitting in a lot somewhere owned by some major dealership management company.

Somewhere further out and the buyer volume is much lower.

My dealer told me it's been taking two months to get a coupe which would make it August for mine. He showed me on the computer that mine has been ordered but no VIN has been assigned yet which is the first step. This is for a sold vehicle which goes through quicker than say an order for inventory. They searched other dealers and no *** coupe is available, I don't know the geographical area that would encompass. There are a few other coupes on the way to the dealer but not the colour I want.

The dealer here in Manchester NH has 6 coupes in stock.:D
I was there today for service and was browsing the lot.
Two months isn't too bad. In the meantime, you can look into accessories and hang out around here. :D
This forum is a great resource for information and mod ideas.

There's a lot to go through and learn while you're here, even Honda's site has a lot of stuff and you can always do what a lot of people don't and that is going through your owners manual!
