I did put some exterior chrome accents on my ext.....no need to worry about the double side tape...they'll last forever once u put them on. A problem is the chrome surface...They are cheap made from china......so, I always apply Rust-Oleum 2x Ultra Cover Gloss Clear spray before put them on my car...3 layers....without this spray the chrome thing can go bad so easilly...
interior / exterior accents
Has anyone purchased any exterior chrome accents or any interior brushed aluminum accents? It seems like they are just applied with very some type of double stick tape. Do they work well or do they start losing their adhesiveness and start peeling as time goes by? I have seen some brushed aluminum accents for the interior that look very nice but I am afraid it may ruin the OEM interior that it is applied to. Thanks for any advice!

Any surface your going to apple them toshould be wipped down with IPA and a clean cloth.
I've been looking too but I'm having trouble finding anything of better quality. We've been very careful with our new car but the center console and the inside door armrests look like they want to turn a whitish color. That fabric is nice but seems like it's going to be a magnet for "stuff"
It does look pretty good as it matches with the upper grill portion. I can imagine how it would stick out like a sore thumb if that wasn't there or if it was blacked out though

I think it looks great! Does it come off easy if you want to take it off? I assumed it would be pretty much permanent once you put it on and would ruin the surface it was applied to if taken off.
I purchased mud flaps, matte chrome window control panels, and chrome door handle covers.
Been thinking about to get a set of chrome window control panels. Love to see it after you install them.

So funny how we are all different. I think all that chrome is awful. It just makes the car look cheap. I think the foglight garnish really hurts the look even if you happen to like chrome. But, it is about what the car owner likes. Just my 2 cents����
I would think with a little heat from a hair dryer and some gentile pulling and they could be removed without causing any damage. I'm still not sure if I like them.
