Now you got a new go-cart! Welcome. I can't wait till I can get a new Civic. Still driving my 05 Accord, haha.

The CVT gets a bad rep on a lot of other cars, but Honda has done an amazing job with this Civic's engine+turbo+CVT combination that it all makes for a really great car altogether.

Sport mode, from my understanding, spins the turbo up sooner and faster than in normal drive mode. I tried it out the other day, and it is an absolute blast.

So do I have sport mode and if so how do I turn it on?

just put the gear S thats it.

The best Civic ever. I normally drive with Econ mode on my daily commute or Sport mode when I need to attack those winding roads. The 1.5 engine is very quiet most of the time but can be screaming loud cuz of the turbo boost at 6000 RPM!! The CVT makes the most of the engine's power and helps you save fuel too. There is a small droning sound but it's nothing to write home about.
