How about the 10th gens coming with complete interior led lights and license plate light from factory?

A lot of of car manufacturers are doing this now...

Good ideas here.

If Honda wants to take the lead, they need to implement this at the least.

The new Toyota Corolla offers LED headlights. Honda needs to offer that, the interior lights, and something else to step the game up.

I drove a new Audi A3 sedan the other day, and was impressed that all of the interior lights were LED.
Having LED lighting would be great, something I would want just as much as you guys, but looking at it on Honda's side of things... seems like something that isn't as important as other things that would go into it's new Civic.... unless of course it's on a top trim model.

LED lights are fine but I don't care all that much. I'd also rather have the LED lights on the exterior rather than the interior. It would be nice but I think that Honda will have to do more than this in order to show that the Civic has made real change.

LED tails for sure, that's what i want more than anything.
Forgot to mention.... for the interior I doubt it will happen. With DRL's, it's very possible, with that approach it keeps them in line with the rest of the industry
Corolla offers LEDs up front across all trim levels, Civic will surely answer...
I read a lot more about people installing after market LEDs for the interior of their vehicle instead of hearing about standard interior LEDs. Not that that means anything for the Civic, but if things keep going the way things are now...

I don't see full LED's happening any time soon, give it some time and it will.
For now that sort of thing is better offered in higher up vehicles, then to trickle it's way down to more mainstream vehicles like the civic.
Well higher up vehicles are already starting to move past LEDs with "laserlights" as shown by BMW at CES just this week.

yea and, those are not productionized yet, not to mention you're easily looking at $5K per headlight assembly... Eff it, give me 25 cent bulbs ALL day...
Yea I realize that they are at the forefront right now. I'm just saying that LEDs aren't even the newest thing anymore. That should mean that LEDs will be trickling down sooner rather than later even if we don't see them on this iteration of the Civic.

Done in that way, it sure does seem like something easy enough to implement, especially when it has been done in that way with other car makers for some time now.
Even out the playing field for Honda in that department.
it's about time they started to use LED tubes in their tail lights!

north america better get that as well!
From what i've seen on the production test cars caught testing, what the lead designer said in an interview and the patent drawings, it will at least have the LED tail lights and DRLs the new car also appears to have projector beam set ups which could possibly be LED as well (Corolla does it, so why not) As for reverse lights and interior lights, i feel thats alot less likely.
