I have a 2018 civic LX sedan. So at 4900 miles, I decided to take it in for it's first oil change. In the maintenance minder section it advised 1 A at 30% oil life, and I did not have a yellow wrench, as an indicator.

After the oil change was done and I went to pick up my vehicle, I notified my service rep, that now, I was showing a B and the A 1 was cleared. He advised, that's normal and when I bring it back, they would handle the B code.

I later returned, not satisfied with that response and had the service manager and another mechanic try and reset it, I observed them attempting to reset it by pressing the trip odo knob. I saw them cycle through all the different codes, but they couldn't turn it off completely. On top of that, they could only toggle between A or B. The man looked at me and was like, wasn't A there before??? Honestly, before the codes popped up, I thought that screen only had oil life and was blank, now they got me believing something's always been there. I know he was in a rush to shut me up because I'm sure he had more important things to do.

I've researched online, manual and even youtube.....Do you guys ever get a cleared screen after leaving or is this just normal?
Thanks in advance.

i had A pop up as well, took to dealer and did oil change.
not even a Daily Derby pops up so I take it back they said it's transmission and I don't have to get it done until my next service.
went back, they said "no, your good buddy".
For some reason I feel like Honda is letting my car deteriorate,
