With the new Honda turbo motors, imo Honda will come up on top vs the other companies...

Does anyone think there's a chance Honda will stay NA to be distinctive?

I know turbocharging is the way of the future, but I love a good high-revving NA Honda motor...

With all the info that is out now it looks like turbo is in the books but only time will tell for sure if it's going to be NA or FI...

I really hope so
Building engines, good engines is the base of the HondaDNA
and it would surprise me if they would fail
When their first diesel came out, the 2.2, it was the engine of the year
my dad has one of those and he loves it
the 1.6 i-dtec is another masterpiece
v-tec engines need an upgrade but I really believe Honda can do it
I'm more worried about their suspension and handling
would be cool if they could cross daggers with Golf and Focus

The way I see it, turbo is a must.

They moved the Civic up in size, at the same time they want great MPG's, with that added weight and needed gas mileage, a 1.5L turbo engine will serve it well.
The smaller size of the turbo engines without really losing power just makes it necessary for basically every car company.

While V8 engines sound awesome, they just aren't efficient. That's what it's about these days -- efficiency.
