I know i'm in the minority on this but... i really don't like cars with oversized wheels, super skinny rubber band tires and dropped so low the wheels tuck into the wheel wells. I like a nice filled out wheel well, but not to the point the tires disappear under it.

Those oversized wheels with skinny tires just make me think of the god awful things i see done to luxury cars in some of the rougher parts of town where they do summer tires on 23 inch chrome rims... what a way to ruin a good looking brand new car. lol. Besides, doing larger than 18" tires on small engine cars just makes them slower and ruins the ride.

real performance cars have sidewalls anyways ;) a bit of deflection is nice during a hard corner... gimmie a table top yo!
too big of a wheel set up and the car starts looking like a Hotwheels toy. 18x8 with a nice offset and sticky rubber will do the car good and shouldn't change the way the car drives by too much except grip better. Bigger wheels and no wheel gap might look cool but when you're trying to dodge every little pebble on the road it takes away from being able to drive the car the way it was meant to be driven.

The wide tires don't look quite so strange if you put a wide body kit on it. Although some people also don't like that.

I like the the first & second pic but it kind of reminds me of a scion.
While I did post these pictures, I don't like how low they sit and the style and fitment of wheel, but it was the first set of renderings I've come across and the first just about anywhere for me.

I prefer a setup along the lines of this:

Not even sure if that is the 10th generation Civic. ^^

Not sure if he meant it as a 10th gen, i think he was more referring to the wheels setup and ride height more than the actual car itself. As we all know thats the canadian 8th gen.

Not a fan of body kits. The added splitter and lowered body looks odd to me. Stock all the way! Except for little things like tint, decals, etc.

Yeah that was the whole point, an example of an idea wheel setup and ride height, lets not lose focus on that.

Has anyone here been looking aftermarket wheels to add to their 10th?

who said it was?
Seeing the wheels sinking into the wheel wells like that makes me think something is wrong with the car, like the suspension is broke or something. Rather than make the car look healthy/virile, give me a mental image of sick. Not in a good way.

That's why god created spacers :D

Now we just need to figure out what size will be ideal to get them flush enough.
Those look good especially the one on the bottom, can't wait for march
