Ok, hi folks, just got a 1.8 liter Civic (Thailand), i’ve read that the CVT in most cars doesn’t behave as a true CVT as it “steps up” at certain rev points to appease drivers in that it gives the feeling of a geared car, but this takes away from the performance advantages of a CVT, has anyone heard of the software being tinkered with to turn the Civic into a true CVT?
