Hello everyone, this is my first thread on this forum so if I don't know what I'm doing, sorry haha. I noticed today that when I floor my car my Turbo PSI is anywhere from 13-15psi. I have yet to see the advertised 20psi... Any ideas? The car literally has 600 miles on it.

Welcome, be sure to keep posting and update your garage ;)

If it makes you feel any better mine has less than 100 miles and i only see a peak of 15-17. If these cars are anything like the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T then all the moons and the stars must align just right before you'll see the max of anything including boost, ignition and cam timing.

I have yet to dig into seeing if any adjustment can be made to the wastegate actuator arm or connection to the wastegate, my guess is not since it's electronically controlled and likely will throw a CEL but maybe there is some leeway.

I don't recall seeing over 16PSI when I was stock...Now with Hondata +6psi it holds steady at 22psi in Sport mode + no-lift shift enabled means the boost doesn't drop between gears.

I tried +9psi yesterday...lots of tire spin in 2nd, 3rd held on but could feel light clutch slip. Cannot go WOT 4-6 without major clutch slip. Even with all this I managed 0.5s faster 50kmh - 100kmh run in 2nd to 3rd (4.8s with +6psi, 4.3s with +9psi. stock 5.4s)

If you want to have fun in this car, a clutch upgrade is recommended. Some folks have even had their clutch slipping at stock power levels; I have not. Might just be lucky, but certainly followed the new car procedure to break-in the engine and clutch.
