Hey all, checking in from downtown Toronto. The wife says I NEED a car now with a kid coming next year, she wasn't pleased when I told her the car seat could ride pillion...
Probabaly going to be the sedan, doesn't look like hatch will reach us in time for her delivery. Hoping to hear/find info on the Si sedan, it's gotta have balls!!
Si is expected in spring 2016. If it's any consolation the new 1.5T has been tested with a 0-60 time only a few tenths of a second off from the current gen Si. Unless the manual transmission is what you're really after.
Yea I believe it, if they do a DCT I may consider TBH. She doesn't drive and I know she won't be interested in learning to drive stick (tried to get her into bikes but she hated having to clutch and change gears, likes her twist and go scoot). But she might be interested in learning on a DCT with auto...
All depends on what the primary purpose of your new car will be. Is this the casual car that you and your wife share? For the new kid and going to the store to get groceries? Or is this a car that is meant to be fun to drive? To teach your wife to drive manual?
Just make sure you keep in mind your priorities and remember you can always get something else to fit your other priorities. It doesn't all have to be contained in the one car.
