WOW, you went from an M5(V10 I assume) to a Civic.............The M5 is one of my dream cars.....good luck, I'm looking at the new hatches to trade my 15 Si coupe for, I'm only at 5500 miles........
Yeahhhh even the dealership said that, the M5 is an absolute nightmare to own though, could have bought another car with the maintenance and repairs that I did with it, insanely fun to drive though! Just trying to stay away from European cars for awhile, you're not looking into getting the new Si when it comes out?
Even the generation before was said to be a headache, although I can't imagine it being as bad as the V10.
It's situations like that I rather go for something else like a Lexus IS-F, at least then you can have a bit more confidence in what you own.

No more 6 speed for me, was going to go with the sport but the lack of features suck, probably go EX hatch
Welcome to the forums but holy moly, I can see where you're coming from with the m5 maintenance and all of that but boy... must be a world of a difference in driving feel and power lol.
I own a 2016 Civic EXT Modern Steel Gray.... Fun car to drive! Going to do some mods but waiting until warranty expires.

Welcome from Colorado :)
Welcome to the forum! At least you'll save a lot on gas by switching to Civic. Performance BMW cars are generally gas guzzlers.
Depending on how someone drives it doesn't have to be that bad, doing a lot of highway miles you'll have the best numbers for that vehicle and with the sort of power its putting out, getting off the line requires little effort. Just have to find that middle ground with these of driving it normally for good mileage and driving it for fun but not to the point you're pushing it.
