Traded in my 2005, 251,000 mil 05 Pilot for a 16 CR-V EX mid May.
Son traded in his 200,000 mile Neon for a 16 Grey Civic EX two weeks later.

Now wife's Piece of Crap 12 Ford Focus is finally about to get traded in fro a new 16 Cosmic Blue Civic EX.

Finally an all Honda family! Wife used to have a Civic when I had the Pilot but it was destroyed and we foolishly got a 12 used Focus in 12. Now we will be all Honda.

16 Civic Ex has so much my DR-V EX doesn't have which surprised me as I thought they were built off a similar platform. Only thing I have they don't is a power driver's seat.

Interesting feedback from your Ford experience, I was actually considering the new Focus or even the Fiesta ST since I don't need that much space, but have been a die hard Honda enthusiast for longer than I can keep track of.

Congrats on making the switch to Honda Civics! Heard the 12 Ford Focus had a lot of transmission problems, hopefully your experience with a Civic will be a lot better this time around.
probably one of the worst gen's of the Focus I think, probably explains why there were so few on the road compared to gens before it and of course the current gen which is too easy to come across.

Posted a while back that I had bought my 2016 CR-V EX Spring Mountain Blue when I traded in my 2005 Pilot with 251,000 miles but then my son traded in his 2004 Dodge Neon with over 200,000 miles and bought a 2016 Civic EX Gray.

Now my wife (who loved her Civic until it was totaled in a wreck) has replaced her crappy Focus with a 2016 Civic EX Cosmic Blue.

BTW, not in the picture but my daughter who doesn't live with us replaced her Grape Fit with another Grape Fit after she was rear ended and the Fit Totaled. Love the survivability of Hondas!

A family that Honda together stays together! And the cars too of course. Honda is just one of those brands with a reputation for reliability and long life expectancy, unless you get rear ended. I'm sure your wife is going to have many happy miles with the new Civic compared to a Ford Focus.
