Bought our new Civic last week. Finally got a chance to properly wash, clay, polish, and seal it. She's quite the beaut.

I just picked up my *** Touring today.
Drove 10 minutes to a 7/Eleven for coffee-after restarting, all sound associated components were dead. No radio, no audio of any type. Went back to the dealer and after second restart everything started to work again..............almost. The speech recognition was having an extremely tough time understanding both my voice and the salesman's voice.
It's a pretty lousy way to start off with a brand new car. The dealer owes me pin striping to be done next week so they will check to see what can be done to correct this.
I am coming from a 2013 Accord-it never had any of these problems.
UGH!!!!!!!!

Congrats hondo and it looks very polished!
binko, don't think I've heard of your problem on the forum yet so it may be an individual issue instead of a batch one. Hope your dealership can fix it.

Problems like that are to be expected with a completely new vehicle within its first year, unfortunately, but that's the way it usually is.
Congrats hondo and it looks very polished!
Thanks. After bringing it home I washed, clayed, polished, and waxed the car to start things off right. My wife helped me find a few dozen little spots to clay out. They really stand out in the white paint.
