Hey everyone. So my love for all things honda started around 1995 when a friend of mine had a crx and was always trying to race anything he could with it. Hed beat some and lose most. It was deathly slow lol. But honestly most of his losses were because hed picked on Goliath haha. Then after a few years he upgraded or so we thought haha to a zc dohc jdm engine , bolted right up to the original d16a6 d series cable tranny +++!!! After realizing it was a minimal gain then came the real money, ported polish head, with valves cams cam gears etc and intake manifold w spacer and throttle body with a ecu tuned to match all from gude performance or aka bullfrog racing! The zc came alive!! That lil car won so many races it in theory shouldnt have that it grabbed my heart. Been a Honda guy ever since. Started with a crx hf with a b18b. Went to a crx with a b16b, to a 1991 ef civic hatch with a gsr swap to a 1992 eg civic hatch with the same gsr , through 6 more eg hatches w same gsr till the last two wich were actually itr b18c. Moved on from all that to a 99 ek civic hatch, then a 2000 si coupe, then a 00 integra gsr, then another crx stock but awesomely clean, then to a 09 honda fit, to a 11 honda fit to a 13 honda fit to now as of 4/20 a new 2017 civic ex hatch. Cvt unfortunately but its for daily with some fun here and there so all good. Still been fun. For hondas first attempt at turbo civics with the 16 being first this 17 moves decently. I plan on upgrades down the road, but ill drive it as is for now. Plus im quite used to all the old ways of making Hondas move! All this new flashing and tuning is new to me but i like its ease of access!! So glad to be here and hope to contribute and learn more. Thanks for having a houston tx citizen on board!
