Hello everybody,

I'm new to the forum but not to civic forums. I was on 8th and 9th, I currently have a 2014 Si sedan in Rallye Red. Before that I had a 2010 Si coupe, traded it in for the convenience of the four doors. My old man is a sales manager at a dealer so I would say I've grown up pretty biased towards Honda's, but I'm not sure whether I will be in one come time to move on, I'm very tempted to get into something a little more expensive.
That being said, I am very interested in seeing the new SI and Type-R, the new civic is definitely a very compelling car, very happy to see what Honda has churned out, I'm just not sure the look is for me of the sedan, it looks really nice but just not exactly what I would see myself in.

Anyway, a bit more about me, I'm a helicopter pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force, based in Halifax. I like to tinker, so my cars don't usually stay stock for long, i get the itch to change things I don't like or just for the sake of it. I'm a social person, if anyone from around Hali sees a red Si sedan lowered on RSX wheels, don't hesitate to say hello!

Welcome!

I am debating my next vehicle in much the same manner that you are. I do like the look of the new Civic but enjoy the ride of my current Accord... and there are about a dozen vehicles that catch my eye. It's gonna be a long winter making up my mind!
Cool to have someone from the the Royal Canadian Air Force! Welcome to the forum!

Yeah, new civic is on the accord platform, it drives like a baby accord, which is to say very very nice.

With that being said, it will be interesting to hear what the reviews and regular people have to say about it, those that have had good time behind the wheel of both to get a real feel of them.
I didn't know that. My wife has a '13 Accord Sport. When I test drove the EX that was the first thought that came to me.
