Hi, y'all;

First post on the forum.
My brand-new '18 Civic LX Coupe (6MT) has less than 400 miles on it! :D

Decided to go for a drive in the country last night. Speed limit was 50 MPH, so I set the cruise control to that, reset the MPG data, and the mileage averaged out to 54 MPG over about 10 non-stop miles. (6th gear) VERY impressive. Expressway at 70 is "only" 42 MPG. (All this with the "econ" leaf turned on) That's that same or better than my old (old) '88 civic, which topped out around 45 MPG while doing 60 MPH.

I love driving this car. Still brings me a grin, and I've only had it a week!

Congrats on the car! Just goes to show you don’t need a small engine and turbo or a CVT to get good mileage. I have both those things and I get roughly the same mileage, I’m averaging about 40mpg at the end of a tank with a good mix of city and highway driving. I find you get the best MPGs when you can stick to 40-50mph, and you’ll get 45+ mpg no problem.
