The lights on my climate control system, the two tray illumination lights, and the shift level lights that illuminate the gear you are in do not come on. I’ve checked every fuse in both of the fuse boxes and can’t find a blown one.

Is there an in-line fuse somewhere else that controls power to this area of the car? All the other parts of the console like the USB ports and 12 volt DC work fine.

Thanks for your help!

How are you checking the fuses? Visual inspection isn't the most effective method; I recommend using a test light to verify state on both sides of each fuse. Also, there is more than one fuse block in the car and your fuse may be located in either of them.

have you done ANYTHING to the car recently? LED bulbs? plugged anything in like a radar detector, garmin type unit? dash camera, homelink mirror? upgrade/replace the radio? add a sub? other accessories?

its either a fuse someplace or a connector has come loose.

@fear24 - Homelink Mirror. . . I drove a lady friend's Avalon recently and I loved that piece. Auto-dimming, garage door opener, and compass; what's not to love. I sourced one from The Flea Bay for $75 (claimed as new but I suspect it wasn't) with a full wiring harness, and it's by far my favourite modification I've done yet to this car. If the rest of you haven't considered one I'd highly recommend it.

do you have a link for your fleabay item? i've had one in my cart from College Hills for months...just have had other necessities pop up. one mod i've been wanting to do forever!

(also, been waiting to get the dashcam so i can tear into the console/headliner just once for the wiring)

@fear24 - The seller on my mirror isn't showing any more, but there are a number of them listed as "Used" (GNTX-1124) and there are some listings for the wiring kit. For example:

Mirror

Wiring

I wish I'd have had the foresight to do my dashcam at the same time as the mirror but I bought them at separate times and had to do a little extra work. Also, the black plastic cover I was furnished wasn't even close to long enough to cover the wiring up the windshield so I 3D printed one of my own. If you end up buying something send me a PM and I'll work out how to send you a printed cover.
