So Honda is keeping the 1.5 l turbo motor for the Si, I think we can likely modify our 1.5l motors to be as quick or quicker than the Si version through aftermarket upgrades, and at less cost of the Si upgrade. Best part of the Si sounds like the LSD, rear wing isn't too bad either. Wheels and tires can be had in the aftermarket quite easily.

>:)The question then is will it be an i-VTEC 1.5lt turbo? That should make a big difference in the higher gears where the currant 1.5lt lacks gusto.
Good question. My guess is no, to keep costs down.

I estimate they just bump up the boost and tune to give it more power, add some handling improvements, aero, and a wheel tire package.

Should be interesting.

I am thinking something along the same lines. Probably a slightly tweaked turbo, freer flowing exhaust and a tune.

Supposedly the car will be around 25K so they can't do much more and keep it around that price when it will come with smart key, touchscreen audio system, and all the suspension and stuff they announced.
