One-off Honda Civic Tourer Type R by Synchro Motorsport

UK racing team Synchro Motorsport has created a Honda Civic Tourer Type R, but it's just a one-off special model.

What started out as a 2014 Civic Tourer became a Civic Tourer Type R thanks to the Synchro Motorsport engineers. The 306 horsepower engine and the six-speed manual transmission and suspension was sourced from the latest Civic Type R.

The brakes and quad exhaust system from the hatchback were also transferred over, and the spoiler comes from the Tourer. Inside the Civic Tourer Type R also received the Type R treatment with body-hugging seats and red accents.

They basically gutted the most of the stuff under the hood to make this Civic Tourer Type R. Too bad it'll never go into production but we'll still be getting the net gen type R from Honda.
Glad to see the red recaro's live on, now we just need that to happen with the the Type R we'll be getting, have to keep it classic like that with new cues going on
It would be cool if the Type was offered in multiple body styles. I understand that the company would lose money in production costs from that, but it would be a nice choice for customers to have.

Nah, Honda has to leave something for the aftermarket modders to do. :D Honda will probably had red accent options like the Recaro seats, red calipers and wheels to go with the red Honda badge.
I really wouldn't mind seeing yellow, was one of my favorites and wasn't commonly seen, had some exclusiveness to it:

I would rather see the yellow being used as an accent color, similar to what we see with the red on the current Type R or what the new Civic Hatchback is actually sporting with the neon yellow.
