So I decided to write a review about one of the bulb options for the EX (or EX-T, LX) because there seem to be almost no reviews on any of them yet.

I installed OPT7's LED headlights in my EX and can't be anymore impressed with the quality of these bulbs! Took about 10 min to install and have been working perfectly so far.

Packaging
They did an excellent job here. Everything was nicely laid out in the box and was not missing one part needed for installation.
10/10

Installation

All and all this took me about 10 min. I had to install the polarity adapters (which was in the box) and flip them around a few times to get them to work, but after that they turned on immediately and installed perfectly.
9/10

Overall

These headlights were easy to install, look incredible and turn right on (no flickering or waiting) I would buy these again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend them.
10/10

I've only used these for about 100 miles so far, I'll update this if I run into any problems...hopefully not.

Check em out :D

looks nice, matches the DRLs well.. I haven't heard of this brand before but they claim better light output than the xenon depot LED bulbs.. how is light output at night?

It matches the DRLs perfectly. Light output at night is excellent.
I had xenons on my GTI and I wouldnt say the light output is better, but its definitely on par.
Yeah honestly, I hadn't heard of OPT7 before either until I started looking into LED conversion kits. They had great reviews online.
How bright is the bulb? Looks to me its "crystal white".... 5000k I think? since at 6000k it starts to have more of a blue hue

They're 6000k. You're right, they do have a slight blue hue but its very subtle.

Great review. How much was the light?
The lights were $100. Great price for the quality ;)
Can U post link to them lights 100 sounds great.
So these bulbs are completely aftermarket? They aren't bulbs that are found in a different trim level of the Civic or something like that?
That link tho is for size 9006 isn't the civic H11

There ya go! Hopefully the link works. :)

Yup totally after market. All the other trim levels (except for the touring model and maybe the EX-L?) have halogen bulbs. These are made by OPT7 and fit perfectly.

i installed mine back in december and i have around 4k miles on it now and drive every night comming back home from work so far zero issues. you would think if it was a problem i would have seen it by now.
Wow, that's a night and day difference there. Really cleans up that front end though, looking good ! :)
Looks great! I like the color better than the blue lights.
A lot of extra wire

could you share a picture of how did you arrranged all the extra cable inside the hood
Definitely my next update to the EX. Any worries about the fan dying ? Can't spin forever can it?

EDIT: i'll go with HIDs instead.
I also had OPT7 LED headlight...not satisfied...

changed to OPT7 55w HID....just like heaven~ More than 5 times brighter and longer light~!!!

How was the install on your HID's? Can we see some pictures to compare the Opt7 LED to HID?
It was so easy~ Just plug and play~!!!

I didn't take the pics when I was using LED...somehow, I can upload some my dash cam videos with OPT7 55w HID...

I'll upload the videos later tonight~
