Paired Phone not always connecting to system!

Here is what happens: I pair my phone with my 2016 Honda Civic EX. All is well, and the Android Auto works perfectly. Everything is working like it should, and then TOTALLY Randomly, when I start up my car like I always do, the system will not connect to my already paired cell phone. Totally Random; there is ZERO pattern to this. The ONLY FIX is to do a Factory Data Reset, and the I re-pair my cell phone to the car and all is well again until the system doesn't connect my already paired phone again. Then I do another Factory Data Reset! I have had the car for about 6 weeks, and I have done more than a dozen Factory Data Resets. The dealer has no idea. They have checked on software updates and have looked at the problem extensively. Please advise Does anyone else out there have this happen.

You have tried reboot before factory data reset?
Yeah, I have turned the car off, rebooted my cell phone, turned the car back on and the whole bit. Nothing but the factory data resets rectifies the issue. One other piece of info, the two clocks are always in sync when things are working properly, but when the paired phone doesn't connect the two clocks are giving a different time.
Ok. Next time it doesn't pair, just go to the setting, and connect from the phone by selecting the Civic bluetooth, which should be saved already. I have an iphone and I'm not sure exactly how the Android would work, but it should be similar.

Androids are very similar, if not the same.

It might even help for the OP to reset the phones Bluetooth, clearing saved Bluetooth connections and all.
