Good afternoon,

I am in a pickle and need some assistance. I was helping my fiancé with her tires and used the jack that is in the trunk. When I went to go return the jack and close that little hatch, I some how broke that little plastic locking piece.

I've tried to run a search via Honda Parts Now and my search has not been successful.

Could anyone let me know what the part name or number is for this broken item? You'd truly be saving my future marriage as this is a new car for her and she's going to be livid when I tell her.

A Junk yard with that part? A Honda dealer parts department "should" be able to look up parts for just about any year & model, on their computer, I would think. Sometimes though, you may have to buy more than just the tiny part you want, if it is an integrated part of a bigger item. Example, if the part is fastened to the jack "door", you may have to buy the whole door as one unit, just to get the attached piece. I have seen a Honda parts dealer look up parts, & seeing the computer screen, you would be amazed at the amount of parts there are, for just even a small section of a car.
