New 2016 Civic. Audio/Information Display




Has been really cold here in the Boston area, lately. New 2016 Civic (not even a month on the road) the Audio/Information Display Screen
does not come on, first appears fuzzy eventually fades to white, in one instance did not come on all day. Usually will come back on display
within 2 hours or after car is really warmed up. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Would be most upsetting if this is NORMAL
behavior.

As far as I know, that is NOT normal. I live 50 miles north of NYC and it has been very cold here too, around 10-15 degrees in the early morning when I leave for work. I have never experienced anything like that. My display comes on normally and stays that way. I have a 2016 Touring 4 dr. My car will be 6 months old at the end of the month. I would bring the car into your dealer and alert them of this problem. Maybe there is a bad connection that is affected by very cold weather causing the display failure then return upon warmup.

I don't believe the cold would cause the problem. I think a problem is there exacerbated by the cold weather. Good luck!
