What if I put on a cold air intake on my 10th gen civic but don't us the MAF sensor, what will happen?

I meant to say what if I don't use the MAF sensor? As in keep it disconnected

Without the MAF sensor the ECU will not know the correct air/fuel ratio to deliver to the engine. You will end up with all sorts of short term and long term problems.

Your car wouldn't run correctly it needs the MAF to calibrate its AFR.

Why would you not want to run the MAF?

You might not need the MAF if you run a MAP manifold altitude pressure tune.But Im just guessing.

You'll get a whole bunch of issues making it close to undriveable. The rpm would keep fluctuating, when you put the pedal down it'll do a bunch of weird stuff. It just won't run right at all.
