Hey guys, just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing rattling from the left and right defogger vents. It typically rattles on a cold start, low RPM, and rough road. It especially happens when it is cold outside and it seems to go away when it is hot. I'm assuming the plastic is expanding and contracting. In brought it to the dealer and they said that they can't fix a problem that comes and goes. I'm currently waiting for a "field engineer" to visit my dealership.

I do notice a rattling noise when on rough roads. It started happening after I took it to the dealership. It comes and goes.....

It started at around 1,300 miles. The driver's side began to rattle. Now at 1,800 miles, the passenger's side began rattling.

I noticed my driver side rattling before, but I haven't heard it recently. I never figured out what it was.

So after bringing my car in to the dealership 4 times including one over night stay, the kept saying that the rattling was not consistently long enough to do a proper diagnosis. After I opened up a case through corporate Honda, they finally "diagnosed" it. They said that it was the A pillars rattling on the windshield. It took 2 months to get this done, I suggest opening a case immediately to hurry the process up. It's been quiet now, I could have swore I heard it rattle again, maybe I was just so used to hearing it that I ended up imagining it. Good luck guys.

My car does it even in bumpi roads or highway. I got my car with the dealer twice, but the last time, they told me that hadn?t any idea about the sound and how to fix it.

If you know what your dealer did, please let me know to give this information to my dealer and get my car fixed.

iT JUST TURNED COLD OUTSIDE AND i NOW HEAR A RATTLE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE DASH. GUESS I WILL HAVE TO KEEP AN EYE ON IT. THIS IS BALDERDASH AND PREPOSTEROUS.

I think you will find it is the plastic cover on the A frame (windscreen pillar)
