I am looking to buy the Civic with 1.5T; can the forum member tell me what you are averaging ? I read recent review (Consumer Report) that the actual MPG is way below the Honda published ! Greatly appreciate your feedback as I put nearly 80 miles/day and need a fuel efficient car.

I don't drive my own vehicles much, and use my Si mostly for running around town, though a bit of an urban town. I am averaging 32.6 MPG over 28 fill ups. I have mostly used regular but ran premium for a while, just a tiny bit better with premium and a noticeable power increase. My best was 42.6, and I was pushing it pretty good doing 80/90+ on a 160-mile highway trip, that same trip the time before was 39.7 MPG. Going to do more premium experimenting this summer.

2018 Sport Touring averaged 36.2 over the past year. Tank-to-tank calculations.
I drive drive fairly sedately, close to speed limits, with the occasional ZOOM when the fancy moves me.
The zooms drop the dashboard figure by about 0.2 mpg. But it soon picks up.

I bought my 2018 Civic sedan CVT EXT because I needed a reliable, high-mileage car for work. I drive about 25k a year and have to buy all my own fuel. I figure that the slower I go, the less fuel I have to purchase, which saves me money. Plus, I get paid by the hour even when I'm driving, so the longer a trip takes, the more I get paid for it. I usually drive at or below the posted (if I'm not causing a backup). It's now summer and I'm averaging over 50mpg on mostly freeway/highway driving. This is an economy car, and I drive it as such because that's what I want from it. I've got another car for fun/spirited/zoom time.

I've got 19,950 miles on my 2017 1.5 EX-T with CVT, and my calculated mileage for the 29 months I've had it is 39.61 mpg. Car has been troublefree; I love the turbo (I traded in a 2004 Civic LX 4 cyl, so I definitely notice the added zip) and the smoothness of the CVT. Only spoilt points have been the hail dents from a moderate hailstorm (my 1999 Tacoma parked next to it didn't show any dings at all), and the tendency for the stock tires to hydroplane at highway speeds (happened on one trip between Phoenix and Flagstaff during a thunderstorm).
