Looks like Thailand and Indonesia are going separate approaches to the their new Civic.

Thailand has the RS Badge:

While Indonesia will be putting on the VTEC Turbo emblem on the bootlid:

Another difference is that Thailand had the black grille:

In the meanwhile, Indonesia is taking a different approach again and keeping the grille as it is:

If you had the option, which would you prefer?

I would have to go with the RS badge but stick with the silver bumper. IMO, black looks nice there but only if it's matte.

I wouldn't go with either one of them but if I had to choose one it would be the vtec badge. Red on the RS badge is nice, only way I could see myself having red on any badging is on the emblem

You can find teh red Honda emblem online and replace the original one with the black one. I've seen someone do it before but not quite sure which honda model. Now I'm wondering if you can replace the civic front badge for a red one too. hmmmm

That and even through local shops that specialize in Japanese part since they should be able to order a set, actually they might even have some in stock which helps in finding a set that is sized like our OEM badges. Don't want to get anything too small or too big, has to look like it came from the factory with red badges.

I just fear them getting stolen, happens too often on Hondas.
That's true about the emblems getting stolen. My buddy got the OEM emblem for both front and rear. Both were stolen.... sucks... he had parked underground and of course with only a one way remote.. you wouldn't know.

I saw the ones on ebay where it's carbon fiber design sticker in different colors. Pretty cool but not sure if I would actually get it lol..
Stinks that the emblems gets stolen but at least those aren't too expensive to replace if it does happen. No idea how someone would pry one off, last time I saw a badge removal guide, you needed to go through the trunk's interior to get to the badge mounting clips.
You can easily remove them with a screwdriver, or even better yet a small pry tool to help get in between the bottom of the badge and painted surface. Sometimes you can even rip it off with your hands. At least it's no were near as easy as some Mercedes emblems...
