6 weeks into owning my Si sedan, looked at the sport hatchback as an option for the additional cargo room, choose the Si sedan instead for a number of reasons. Absolutely no regrets! In the past year went from a Durango to a Fiat 500 now to my Honda. Great balance of performance and practicality. Just my ¢¢ for what its worth.

I'm in my mid 50's and climbing rapidly. Maybe my Sport Touring HB is my sensible mid-life crisis car. :) But even though the two kids are on their way to college and adult life, it is still nice to have four doors for friends and other family members as well as the hatch for stuff that wouldn't fit or be as easy to get in and out of a trunk. Plus, I think it just looks cooler. I'd love an SI but the stick would kill my knee because I commute in an urban area and it would be like this: 1st gear, 2nd gear, neutral, 1st gear, neutral, 1st gear, 2nd gear, wohoo 3rd gear, awww, neutral. That would be the first 200 yards.

I have two "tweens" and a wife. I still considered getting the coupe. Im glad I settled on the sedan.
The weight is nominal and the weight distribution is nominally better in the sedan.

Curb Weight 2889 lbs vs 2906 lbs
Weight Distribution (front/rear) 61.4% / 38.6% 60.3% / 39.7%

I'm married with 1 kid at home and love my coupe and my wife has an SUV so if it was our only car then maybe I would have got the sedan. I never have to deal with getting in the back seat but my 14 year old son seems to get into there with no problem. I know the coupes are less popular and I'm sad to see them go. I love the sportier styling of coupes and the more aggressive wing. Since Honda has decided to discontinue the coupe I hope that the SI will be available in the hatchback. Although I hope mine will last a while and I won't be in the market for my next SI until gen 13.

Just bought a coupe Si last week. Found out Honda was done with them after this year. I have 3 kids, but we also have a mini-van. Any time it's more than two or three of us we just pile into the minivan anyways, so I thought "WTF, I might as well have some fun". It's only been a week but no regrets. I think the 10th gen coupe has some of the best lines of all.
