"Smart Tint"

Hey guys, very new to the forum and just bought a 2017 Civic EX-T Coupe. I live in NY and as of January 1st we are no longer allowed to have tint on our cars any less than 70% (which is not evn noticeable). This law has been in effect for a while, but police are really cracking down on it around me now more than ever. On top of that you can't even get your car inspected because it now will fail.

Long story short I do not want to have to rip the window tint off every year before inspection and have to get it redone, and I do not want to have to worry about getting pulled over. However, I've done a little bit of research and have stumbled upon something called "smart tint" you can literally (it seams) turn the tint on and off with a controller. Say before inspection or when you see the police.

With that said all I have really found is a type of tint you can't see out of whether you are inside the car or not, so it's not safe. Does anyone else know of any products or ideas regarding this issue that might be useful?

Thanks for your time.

Tint absolutely protects from UV rays and reduces heat inside the car, but as far as my biggest reason for wanting a dark black tint maily is looks. It adds so much personality to the car. if you can't see through my rear window, you shouldn't be riding so close to my back bumper so you can see ahead of me or have time to react without needed to see what I see. As far as side window's I'm not sure why you need to see where I'm looking. If I'm going to change lanes I have a blinker. If I wanna wave you by at a stop sign I can flash the high beams quickly. If you're busy looking at me to see where I am looking, who's watching the road for you?
