Has anyone purchased a sport or sport touring with the optional wheels? I have not seen any in person and cant even find any good pics online. I am trying to decide if I want to order those or not. What are your opinions on them? They seem pretty cool on the site but again, images on hondas site are not "actual" real life photos.

I haven't seen any in person, but you can find some aftermarket rims you like more for less money. They're trying to make money on add-ons like that, ya kno?

Man, those wheels do look nice. That makes me want to get the sport over the EX.....but i cant find a dealership that has an EX in sonic grey pearl with those wheels for sale near me....and im in just about the largest state lol

those wheels are optional...on any model really. and the paint is a wrap i'm sure. you can do this to yours....

IMO thoses wheels would only look good with a black car or silver with the red skirts packages

Same, they are black car only for me. I'm not sure if I would even consider a silver one at all.

Well I just bought a Sonic grey pearl hatchback EX and I went ahead and bought the optional sport wheels and they will be installed on the car. So now I have two sets of wheels and tires hahaha. I'm hoping it'll look great. If I don't like the red lip around the wheel I'm going to get it painted. My car will be delivered next week! Super pumped

Congratulations on making the purchase man! You won't regret it! I love the EX, been taking it easy breaking her in but still obviously so much fun to drive. I'm going to plasti-dip the stock rims either black or blue (my EX is blue) and paint my brake calipers blue. Getting a heat reducing tint all around first. And I have my eye on some dope black/blue seat covers. Customizing is going to be so much fun.

nice...wheels do look good. did you get to keep the factory ones? i mean, you paid for the new ones...you should be able to keep the old ones...unless they did a direct swap for zero cost.

how's the HR-V? i've considered that as a replacement to my 9th gen civic....but, i just think it could be underpowered and underwhelming to drive. i like the size and concept...just wish it had more oomph!

I love the HRV but it could use a little more power. Overall though a fantastic car and can haul quite a bit.

I did get to keep the stock set of wheels and tires. Was considering posting them for sale or possibly ly putting them on the HRV.....can't decide yet.

Looks great - I love that Sonic Grey. Was torn between that and the Lunar Silver myself!


And you know - I personally wouldn't have spent that much on wheels (there's just billions of wheels for cheaper in the aftermarket - including Enkei's aftermarket offerings, the manufacturer of Honda factory wheels), but - it looks really good.


Especially in that rear quarter picture you attached you can see it - they really DO suit the car. The red in the wheels pulls out the red in the taillights, and it even compliments the grey - like a touch of color, and not an arbitrary color. Nice - congratulations on your new car!
