Hey everyone,

So i got my hatchback a couple of weeks ago and its been a blast so far. However one day i decided to examine the engine bay and found this rubber stopper lodged into my engine. Does anyone know where it came from? it doesn't look detrimental but i would still like to know where it came from.

Take it back to the dealership.

Also found in glove box

I bought a 2016 EXT Coupe last May, I found a plastic bag in my glove box with 4 of those rubber things in it ,it also had License plate mounting screw and washers.
i look all around the car and I couldn't find where they would go. But I think they are body drain plugs, atleast that what they used to be in the 70's they were usually on the bottom of the doors.
Did you lift up your passenger side mat?(front) there is a cut out in the floor that has the frame serial number, It doesn't mention that anywhere in the manual.
I hope I was of help to you, if you definitely find out what that rubber is please let me know.

It could also be a disposable item which is removed from a component during installation. This might be a good opportunity to look back through the assembly plant videos and watch for it.

Lol that's terribly a lot of work to watch an assembly plant video to see where it goes haha !

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, just a plug from somewhere... the dealership may be able to locate where from but I wouldn't be troubled by it.
