Not that I've seen on the forum yet but if it's back ordered then I assume more people are having the same problem. How long will it take to ship your dealership the needed parts?

(I think we are agreeing here… I don't think I read your post that way the first time.) It can also mean it was a part they expected essentially no demand for on a car this young in its life, so even a few wipes out the warehouse stock. If we were talking about an end-of-cycle 2015, the case for a part that was having a lot pf problems in the field would be a lot clearer. Another negative indicator is that this is a one-of-one post so far in the forums that I recall.Being backordered can also mean its not a common part to blow, so they don't have any sitting around
Did they tell you what part needed to be replaced? The dealer called me today saying my part is on its way. Can't wait to get back in my civic.Same thing happened to me. I just purchased my ex-l and was about to drive off the lot. Boom sunroof tilts to one side and wont close. Wont actually get to drive the car until Thursday.
Sorry for the late reply...I got my car back on March 7 and so far haven't had any further issues with the sunroof. I try to go thru the full auto open and close cycle whenever I drive my car. I've even used the auto open feature with the keyfob.I had this happen today too in my 2016 EX-T. Sunroof has worked fine before, but today when closing it, the left side went down and the right side stayed up and off track. Dealer's keeping my car for a few days, said they're going to replace the track.
For the folks who've had the repairs done, did the new tracks actually resolve the issues? Any more issues since? I'm moving out of state on Saturday, and am worried the repairs are going to take longer to deal with.
