I'll wait till the actual reveal before I make a judgement.
Not what I was hoping for but maybe it'll look better at the reveal once they have ample lighting and better quality pictures. No loss if the coupe isn't what I want. There's always the touring sedan.
-bad lighting
-blurring pictures
-hideous green color
-unflattering angles

remember how ugly the sedan looked in some of it's early spy shots, including the one where it was parked outside right before the reveal?

Another forum did a side by side comparison of the the coupe and concept car, swapping out the wheels, lowering it a bit and adding a spoiler made it look almost identical. They're just bad pictures and that green.... bleh.... IMO

Reserving final thoughts until next week.

well I also thought the concept was brutal.
I don't think there's any more that needs to be seen, since these pictures are clear enough. Even when it comes to other colors I doubt it will get any better.
The green certainly is not doing any favors. But I am hopeful other than that.
yes, compared to the concept this is a big letdown
hope it will turn out better in the end

I will admit the rear isn't looking as nice as I was hoping. But I hold out hope. And I think it will look way better in white instead of this horrid green. I can't see the putting this color on sale.
the overhangs are just gross. At least the concept they pushed the wheels out tot give it the look of intent... I think I'm sticking with Si Sedan
I know they are early and unclear pictures but where is that concept coupe from 6 months ago?!
I thought the sedan would be the least 'attractive' looking variant
it turned out to be very beautiful but this is the adverse effect
I'm starting to fear for a hatch ****-up as well...

that what i was thinking as well, if they went with a front end different from the sedan the spied coupe would have looked much better, specifically the front end the concept had.

Concept should be what represents the Si, good way to upsell people to something that looks better by slotting in an ugly lower trim.

The spied picture makes the proportions look a bit weird. Can't put my finger on what it is but hopefully a clearer picture will show us something similar to the concept.

That could be it but i'm having doubts, we'll just have to wait for it to drop
I just keep remembering how many complaints about the sedan there were when pics leaked, and how unfounded they ended up being. We already know the front end of the sedan is handsome, and the coupe shares that. That takes care of half the car pretty much. The back end is different, but we knew that, and it isn't all that different from the concept, other than a slightly longer overhang. I think once official pictures are shown it'll be ok.

In my opinion coupe styling isn't everyones cup of tea to begin with. I know quite a few that prefer sedan styling over coupe styling, and that's perfectly fine, to each his own.

I might be weird but, i'd rather have a car with controversial or even jarring styling elements than one that's completely dull and boring and typical. Some of my favorite cars have been regarded as being weirdly styled or shaped (like the veloster). I also think a rear spoiler will help the back end 100% It looks unfinished without one.
I can't tell if its the green in the renders that is over-saturated and not realistic, or if the spy photos are muted and not realistic. I tend to think that the render is probably not accurate in terms of color. Often times the renders are not very good at representing the color of a vehicle in real life.

Honda is pretty notorious for retouching their colors a bit too much (given i retouch photos as part of my job i can tell when things are over boosted on contrast and saturation) but the spy shots are a bit washed out, and it's noticeably cloudy, so lack of natural light.

I also don't think it's a direct color match to the concept color. The concept color was a super bright highlighter green and the green in the spy shots is more of a kiwi (think kia soul green).
whats missing is contrast. The spied car has no contrast to ground the key lime paint!
