I'll wait till the actual reveal before I make a judgement.
well I also thought the concept was brutal.-bad lighting
-blurring pictures
-hideous green color
-unflattering angles
remember how ugly the sedan looked in some of it's early spy shots, including the one where it was parked outside right before the reveal?
Another forum did a side by side comparison of the the coupe and concept car, swapping out the wheels, lowering it a bit and adding a spoiler made it look almost identical. They're just bad pictures and that green.... bleh.... IMO
Reserving final thoughts until next week.
that what i was thinking as well, if they went with a front end different from the sedan the spied coupe would have looked much better, specifically the front end the concept had.I know they are early and unclear pictures but where is that concept coupe from 6 months ago?!
I thought the sedan would be the least 'attractive' looking variant
it turned out to be very beautiful but this is the adverse effect
I'm starting to fear for a hatch ****-up as well...
That could be it but i'm having doubts, we'll just have to wait for it to dropThe spied picture makes the proportions look a bit weird. Can't put my finger on what it is but hopefully a clearer picture will show us something similar to the concept.
Honda is pretty notorious for retouching their colors a bit too much (given i retouch photos as part of my job i can tell when things are over boosted on contrast and saturation) but the spy shots are a bit washed out, and it's noticeably cloudy, so lack of natural light.I can't tell if its the green in the renders that is over-saturated and not realistic, or if the spy photos are muted and not realistic. I tend to think that the render is probably not accurate in terms of color. Often times the renders are not very good at representing the color of a vehicle in real life.
