Torontonian looking into the 10th generation Civic

Hello everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Toronto and am interested in the Civic because I know there will be plenty of aftermarket options eventually. I don't want to do anything too crazy, but some mods would be fun.

Is this next gen model coming out in 2016? Or later than that still?

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. Toronto, eh? Great city.

What sort of mods are you thinking?

Rumor is that the 10th gen is coming in 2016. We'll see right?
Hopefully the 10th gen Civics won't have the same release delays that the 3rd gen Fits did.

I am thinking tinted windows, maybe some new wheels, perhaps a spoiler.
A nice tasteful rear lip spoiler on the trunk is definitely in the cards for me.

Summer wheels and Winter wheels?

i am thinking more about rims I suppoer. As far as tires go I would stick with all-seasons but I should probably get winter tires too. They are just expensive. :(

how far would you go with it? carbon fiber lip spoiler (which can get really expensive)? or something along the lines of what would come from the factory in poly, urethane, etc?
Projector heaights would be nice for once, well on the higher trims...
It seems like nicer headlights are making their way down even to more affordable models, so projector headlights are a possibility. They will likely be at least an option on high er trims levels.
Even the Toyota Corolla has projectors. Kinda sad that my 70 year old mom has projectors and I don't. :(
I saw a few of them around and yea it's sad but hopefully honda will learn of this gen on what to do and not. Also on Honda's defense there is a few features that the Civic has that the Corolla doesn't...

For one it has lane watch camera, you can look up the features on both and see what the civic has that the Corolla doesn't...
Too bad the corolla doesn't have that, i'll look into the differences.

why, you want a civic...
Just to see what else is offered with a segment that's not too far off from this, Toyota has improve on the Corolla, it's not as boring as it used to be.
