Touch Screen Override

I don't think you can, you could look through your owners manual, or call the service department. But I truly don't think you can override it.

Its a safety lock basically. The car cant sense if its a passenger or driver is touching. Our Toyota and Ford are the same way. Its to prevent the driver from taking too much attention off the road. Yes it can be annoying, but the bottom line it is to keep you and other safe.

Honda must follow the mandates of the federal nannies in their efforts to save us from ourselves. So you'll just have to stop, put vehicle in park, then have at it.

In the Miata forum, I have read that Mazda people have hacked the system to enable changes while moving. Are Mazda owners brighter than Honda owners? :nerd: Or just more nerdy?
