Could be a software problem with Honda. I think you should leave it if it happens again so the dealership can see it in action. Not sure if replacing the infotainment system would help if it's a software problem.
Thats what the service manager just told me, it's a known software problem for Accords, but I'm the first one they've seen it happen in a Civic. Then again I'm also one of the first 5 Civics they sold and the first Civic Touring they sold.Could be a software problem with Honda. I think you should leave it if it happens again so the dealership can see it in action. Not sure if replacing the infotainment system would help if it's a software problem.
Holding the touch screen power until a screen comes up asking if you want to reboot, press yes on the touch screen. It takes at least 1 to 3 minutes for the system to completely reboot and come back on. Similar to restarting a tablet or a smart phone or a computerWhat is involved in a reboot?
Nope, I had the update done over a month ago, this is something different according to the service manager, Honda is working on another update patch for this.Is it possible that this is related to the Touring audio update that is available? I got the recall notice in the mail last week but I haven't taken my car in yet.
