I do not believe you can just put in the 7 inch screen from the higher end models into the lower end one. To my knowledge, there is a special amplifier in the passenger kick panel that powers 8 speakers throughout the car using digital optical audio from the head unit. There are many aftermarket solutions that can look like OEM equipment. Sonicelectronix and crutchfield have a huge selection of radios, screens and receivers for you to look and choose from. Most of the newer models will have apple car play for you. I personally recommend the Alpine iLX-107 or iLX-207, but in my Civic Coupe EX-T, I don't even use Apple Car Play because of it's limitations. Car Play doesn't support Google Maps or Waze. Perhaps there will be an update later.
