What color is that?!

I get this question a lot, most recently from another EX-T owner who was driving an Aegean and pulled up next to me at a stoplight.

"I just can't tell! Is it a really dark gray, or some weird shade of black, or what? It's gorgeous, I just don't know what it is!"

For the record (heh), it's Cosmic Blue, which is why I named my car Janis. But yeah, it's such a dark blue that it's somewhat hard to identify in full sunlight and completely impossible at night. Personally, I like it.

Other Cosmic owners, have you run into this?

Too funny...I almost bought this color as it seemed unique - even the salesman and GM could not get the colors straight - one said it was more grey, other said more blue. I finally picked lunar silver as it shows dirt the least. I am too lazy to wash it frequently :)

I went back and forth on the color on my Touring, finally settled on the Cosmic Blue. In less than full sunlight yes it is hard to nail the color down. But in bright sunlight the color sparkles and shines, I love it.

Gotta keep people on their toes with Cosmic Blue! It's definitely a unique color that changes depending on the lighting. There's another paint similar to that too, kind of a burgundy color and my friend has it. Can't recall what it was called.

My wife wanted a Civic but hadn't looked at the colors yet. I went by and took a photo of the Cosmic Blue. That settled it. It is a little darker than her beloved first car, 79 Camaro and she fell in love with the Cosmic Blue Civic. The Aegean Blue is a little too bright for our taste. YMMV.

Burgundy Night Pearl, and it looks fabulous in the sun. Otherwise, it looks like a dark, dark wine.
