What’s it like to drive the 10th Generation Honda Civic Hatchback Sport for 5 hours at highway speeds? It’s not that great to be honest. It’s loud and uncomfortable. After about 90 minutes you start to feel the fatigue. The sound insulation is particularly bad in the wheel wells.

I got my 2019 civic hatchback sport touring. I drove for few days now. I was wonder why ppl complain it is noisy, it is much quiet than my old 2015 Scion TC. The leather seat very comfortable and only pumped when pass though a not flat surface.

I agree with Franky. I listen to music in the car so quietness is important. I measured all the cars I test drove with a decibel-o-meter app on the phone. The ST level was 85dB during normal driving. That was the same as our Lexus and quieter than the Vette and my truck. (A VW salesman said when the GTI is in sport mode a microphone picks up engine compartment noise and pipes it into the cab - NOT!)

Anyway I took a five hour trip in the ST and found it to be reasonable, even at highway speeds.

I just drove my 2017 hatchback 1300 miles down to Mississippi I did not find a noise level to be a problem at all we really loved using Android auto and playing music from iHeart all the way down the only issue I had was with the TPMS system telling me my tires were low but I had that same problem with my previous Honda Civic
