Hello Everyone,

I am looking to tint my windows but i am unsure what % to do for the 4 side windows and what % to do for the back window?

Any suggestions or tips or even places to go to would be helpful!!

If you want to apply tint that does not exceed the legal darkness for your state, any reputable shop can let you know.

To my knowledge of researching on Google, 35% tint seems to be the legal limit. I have 35% on my 02' civic and it's fairly effective.. Would like to go a bit darker but that's just personal preference

The darkest window tint percentage is 5 percent. Many limousine windows are tinted to this percentage of darkness, and it is impossible to see through it from the outside.

I have 35% on my 94 Civic (legal limit in Georgia) and it looks good and is easy to see at night. Anything darker and seeing at night can be a challenge.

In Mass anything under 35% is illegal so I would do 35%

If you go to tintlaws.com it will let you know how dark you can go legally.

35% to be "safe"....However I usually do 25%. You should check with your state to be sure what is legal though.

20 and 5 Tint

It really depends on the state you live in. I have 20% on driver and passenger and 5% the rest of the way around on my 2017 civic hatchback.
