Hey everyone,

I'm from Western NC. I currently drive an 05 Accord V6. My families from both sides are fans of Asian cars. I really enjoy my Accord, as I've had it since it was 2 years old. I have 149K on it now. I do like the new Civics though. While I've driven mostly cars with bigger engines, I don't mind driving a 4 cylinder one. My wife is currently driving an I4 Hyundai Santa Fe. I personally think the 4 cyl is fun to drive, even though it has less power than a V6. I'm interested in both, the Turbo and non-turbo models. Once I'm done paying off my wife's car, I'll be looking into the Civic. I'm here to learn as much as I can.

Welcome to the forum V! Thinking of the Sedan or will you take a look at the coupe too since you're in no rush to buy?

I'm not a fan of coupes. I have a family, so sedan is a must.

You've had it since you were 2 years old! How is that even possible?

I'm guessing there is a typo in there... LOL

Welcome to the forum!

I think at this point we all have a lot of figuring out to do. There are useful sections and threads throughout this site just take some time and pick through it.

Which model are you looking at purchasing? (LX,EX,Touring)

Ahem..read again. I said I had it since it was 2 years old. I bought it in 2007, and it's an 05 model

Touring is out of the question. I am building a house soon, so no big money will be dropped. I'm thinking EX or EX-T. I hate the volume control on EX and up though. I like the knob from the LX. Can I have the control panel from EX and knob from LX?

But most likely EX or EX-T, as I want a sunroof and some extras. My current Accord is LX, which does fine though.
