I am really confused. But I am not stupid, either. Ive owned 12 Hondas and own three currently. The question is, how often should you change out the auto trans fluid of a 2017 Honda Civic? I have seen so many answers it would make your head spin: at 25k, 30k, 50 to 100K, 60 to 100K, you name it. What I simply want to know for a normal Civic, when should I change it out? WHAT DOES HONDA SAY? PS please don't use the words "it would be nice to do" in your response. I'll state, in the past I literally went 200,000 miles on the original auto trans fluid with no issues but I can always be educated. I am also extraordinarily suspicious of dealers based on fact and history of their extortion efforts.
